With ten levels of building, several thousand occupants and a need for immediate communication, this large computer centre for financial institutions in London needed an effective means of communication around the building in the event of power or IT failures.

PAS developed a distributed PA system throughout the building on all levels with a total of three hundred and fifty speakers located in office suites, communal areas and plant rooms.

The system is battery backed up to ensure operation in the event of mains failure and provides the building management with an effective tool to ensure their operations run smoothly at all times.

PAS installed the system over a period of four weeks largely throughout normal working hours, minimising any disruption to the occupants with sensitive areas carried out during evenings. The facilities team were pleased with the manner our teams went about the work without any issues or mess.
